Special Notice – Design, Development, Demonstration, and Integration II (D3I2) Information Briefing – Amendment 01

If so, you might want to attend the Design, Development, Demonstration, and Integration II (D3I2) Information Briefing.

The D3I2 is a follow-on contract to the D3I Domain 1 contract that was awarded in 2019. The D3I2 contract will provide research and development services for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) in four domains: Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Cybersecurity and Information Systems (CIS), Space/High Altitude (SHA), and Test and Evaluation (T&E).

The D3I2 contract is expected to be awarded in February 2025, with a base period of five years and one option period of five years. The total value of the contract is estimated to be $2.05 billion. The contract will be a small business set-aside, with seven expected awards. The NAICS code for the contract is 541715, with a size standard of 1000 employees for most subsectors, except 1500 employees for aircraft, aircraft engine and engine parts, 1250 employees for other aircraft parts and auxiliary equipment, and 1300 employees for guided missiles and space vehicles, their propulsion units and propu.

The D3I2 Information Briefing will be held on January 11, 2024 at the contractor’s facility in the United States. The purpose of the briefing is to provide potential offerors with an overview of the D3I2 contract requirements, evaluation criteria, proposal submission instructions, and other relevant information. The briefing will also provide an opportunity for potential offerors to ask questions and network with other interested parties.
