Requirements

  • The contractor will be required to demolish, by removing all brick, wall systems, trusses, roof system, HVAC and electrical & communications systems of buildings 61 and 62. They will then reconstruct the new entry control area by bringing the elevation to the required depth and installing a new guard shack, overhead protection with piers, stormwater system with water basin, inbound and outbound lanes with gates, parking, sidewalks, retaining wall, and pop-up barriers. Optional line items are included for prefabricated guard booths, concrete truck off-tracking, cabinetry, weapons rack, brick around the gate house additional sidewalks on Olmstead and for Building 81, mow strips, and guard booth unit heaters.
