Requirements

The contract will require the following work, but not limited to Inside Plant (ISP) Replacement including removing existing outdated and abandoned-in-place (AIP) CAT-3/CAT-5 wiring, installing new rack cabinets, AC power for rack cabinets, relocation of existing equipment, engineer, furnish, install and test an upgrade to the ISP wiring and new NIPR CAT-6 cabling. In addition, the Fiber Optic work includes the installation of 2100 feet of fiber optic cable from Building 123 to Buildings 528 and 530, including work in the underground conduit system utilizing maintenance holes, hand holes to install fiber optic cable, fiber optic distribution panel, cable racks, a network switch, UPS and engineer, furnish, install and test the new fiber optic cable system.
