Requirements

The work includes all:

  • Supervision, equipment, labor material and plant for the following. Provide Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) permits, permit closeout, provide MassDEP required inspections using a licensed State of Massachusetts engineer, coordinate and schedule MassDEP required inspections. Demolish and remove the existing lifeguard and women’s changing room facility, slab, footing, walkways, electric and appurtenances. Provide site preparation, required to provide two (2) new modular double vault toilets, new walkways, ramps and slabs. The vault toilet site work shall include site clearing, new sidewalk, new detectable warning fields, new parking stops, new accessible parking posts, installation of accessible parking signs and new ramp with handrails to create an accessible route from the parking lot to the new vault toilets and women’s changing room.
  • Purchase, deliver and install a new shipping container (Conex Box) for the storage of lifeguard equipment during construction period. Provide selective demolition of the existing men’s changing facility. Divide the existing men’s changing facility to create a men’s changing room and a new women’s changing room facility. Provide new connections to existing water lines for two (2) new free standing modular outdoor showers. Provide concrete aprons, walkways, doors, privacy screen. Provide final grading and cleanup of the site
