Background

  • The Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) is issuing this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential SeaPort-NxG Vendors (both large and small businesses) who are interested and capable of performing the tasking described in the RFI. The Government intends to issue a full and open competition Request for Proposal (RFP) via SeaPort-NxG for this Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodian / Inventory Manager (IM) support services Task Order (TO) effort.

Requirements

  • Communications Security (COMSEC) Custodians shall serve as national COMSEC Account Managers (CAMs) and shall be trained and qualified prior to arrival and performance in-country. The Contractor shall perform the following: 1) Receipt, temporary storage, and transfer services for U.S. DoD-provided single or twoperson special access control devices, COMSEC equipment, documents, keying, and other materials. 2) Train personnel in the proper custodianship, safeguarding, and operation of DoD-provided special devices, COMSEC equipment and materials, including keying materials. 3) Conduct periodic inventories, inspections, and audits of DoD-provided special devices, COMSEC equipment, documents, and materials, including keying materials.
