  • Requires comprehensive hospital and physician services for adults in custody (AICs) at the Metropolitan Detention Center located in Los Angeles, CA (hereinafter referred to as the “institution”).
  • Comprehensive medical services include
    • Inpatient Facility Services,
    • Outpatient Facility Services,
    • Inpatient Psychiatric Services,
    • Inpatient Physician Services,
    • Outpatient Physician Services, and
    • Outpatient Institution (On-Site Physician) Services.
  • The institution currently houses male and female AICs.
  • Inpatient and Outpatient Hospital and Physician Services:
    • Inpatient: 997 Inpatient Days per year (approximately)
    • Inpatient: Psychiatric 385 Inpatient Days per year (approximately)
    • Outpatient: 518 Outpatient Visits per year (approximately)
