NIST headquarters campus is located on 579 acres in Gaithersburg, Maryland. The original campus construction dates from the mid-1960s and the entire campus is designated as National Register Historic District. NIST has begun a program to expand and modernize its facilities on this campus as described in the 2018 NIST Gaithersburg Campus Master Plan and Environmental Assessment (available at https://www.nist.gov/ofpm/nist-gaithersburg-master-plan).

Construction Management Services Solicitation Requirements

  • The Contractor shall provide:
    • Management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, and equipment (except as otherwise provided) and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure the effective performance of services described herein.

    The Construction Management services contractor will be required to provide services to include, but not limited to:

    • Scheduling
    • Cost Estimating

    • Assistance in Planning and Preparing Solicitations and Other Acquisition Documents
    • Quality Assurance during Planning, Design, Construction, Commissioning, and /or Activation
