Requirements

  • This project will construct two (2) new recruit barracks in support of gender integrated recruit training and integrate it into a campus setting consistent with the installation master plan. Provide adequate open squad bay billeting and Battalion/Company administrative space for recruits and permanent party personnel at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island.

  • Site preparation includes site earthwork and grading, pavement demolition and utility demolition.  Special foundation features include pile foundations. Electrical utilities include primary and secondary distribution systems, outside lighting, charging stations and telecommunications infrastructure. Mechanical utilities include potable water supply system, fire water supply system, sanitary sewer with lift station, storm sewer system, and geothermal wells. Environmental mitigation will include unexploded ordnance (UXO) construction oversight.
