Background

The RSNF purchased multiple MH-60R helicopters for initial deployment in Jubail, KSA under an initial FMS Case. This initial FMS Case included a non-motion Tactical Operational Flight Trainer (TOFT), an electronic classroom (EC), Operator Machine Interface Assistant (OMIA), and electronic courseware used in the EC. The TOFT is housed in a self-contained relocatable simulation shelter (RSS). The RSNF has signed a follow-on support FMS case that includes support of the training systems and courseware. The U.S. government plans to provide follow-on training systems support through a Training Systems Follow-on Support (TSFOS) IDIQ.

The RSNF TOFT was designed and built by Naval Air Warfare Center, Simulation Division, Manned Flight Simulator (MFS). The OMIA was procured from Stottler Henke under a SBIR grant from the U.S. Navy, and the Electronic Classroom was provided by Crew Training International.

Requirements

  • The requirements for this delivery order include systems configuration upgrade, HW/SW technology refresh, courseware updates, training systems updates, and updating current training systems technical data packages concurrent with updates and modifications for the RSNF MH-60R TOFT. It will also identify and update new features, software defect removal, courseware updates, and technical data package updates into the training systems baseline.
