Requirements

The contractor shall provide all management, labor, material, equipment, (unless furnished by the Government), transportation, supervision and minimal designs to accomplish numerous, concurrent projects for a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work on real property at Edwards AFB (EAFB), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) at both the Edwards Site and leased facilities in Palmdale, California (CA) , and Air Force owned/operated facilities located at Plant 42 in Palmdale, California (CA). The base encompasses over 308,000 acres, and 3,064 facilities containing 8,879,854 SF, with projects varying tremendously in complexity and nature. The size and diversity of EAFB necessitates expeditious response and efficient management of the heavy volume of task orders placed against the Simplified Acquisition of Base Engineering Requirements (SABER) contract. Facilities include, but are not limited to, research and development, hospital, secure areas, airfields, flight line, infrastructure, administrative, pavements, industrial, etc.
