Background

Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems Division’s vision is to become the recognized experts in the development, acquisition, testing, assessment, and sustainment of electronic warfare (EW) and information systems, components, and technologies with particular emphasis on expeditionary electronic warfare systems and networked enterprises. Expeditionary electronic warfare encompasses Littoral, Riverine, Amphibious, Ground, and Low Altitude domains of EW.

Main focuses include development, upgrade and support of EW systems and technologies encompassing electronic attack (EA), electronic protection (EP), electronic support (ES), and Cyber/EW activities in the areas of vectors or techniques for cyber payload delivery, offensive / defensive vulnerabilities assessment, and Cyber/EW test infrastructure development. Research and engineering activities may include transition of advanced technologies for distributed multi-domain (expeditionary, air, marine), multi-function military applications.

With the purpose to rapidly deliver innovative electronic warfare and information operations solutions, to support the United States Armed Forces and other government agencies operating in a dynamic environment, and to focus on saving lives and delivering enhanced combat capability to the nation’s Warfighter.

Requirements

  • Provide engineering, technical, logistical, and programmatic support to the Government for design, development, and advancement of EW systems and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TPPs). The contractor shall assist in development, testing, evaluation, and engineering related logistics for source data, acquisition life-cycle planning, maintenance planning, spare allocations, technical manuals, provisioning data, and related services for EW concepts. The Contractor shall support Cyber/EW activities in the areas of vectors or techniques for cyber payload delivery, offensive / defensive vulnerabilities assessment, and Cyber/EW test infrastructure development. Cyber/EW will include all communication layers vulnerable to Cyber/EW attacks, with emphasis on wireless-enabled Cyber/EW. Cyber/EW focus area includes EW platforms employing software Defined Radio, Digital Signal processing, and Field Programmable Gate Array technologies as described in the attached draft Statement of Work
