Background

The Dept of the Air Force (DAF) Family Advocacy Program (FAP) is a medical program that enhances DAF readiness by promoting family and community health and resilience. DAF FAP also advocates for nonviolent communities. These objectives are accomplished through the use of broad-based education and awareness activities along with the identification and treatment of family maltreatment incidents prevention services for families at risk of violence, and victim assistance services These services prevent family maltreatment from decreased duty performance of AF members. The objective of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to delineate specific tasks, duties, skill sets, and credentials required to fulfill key positions in the DAF FAP. The Family Advocacy Officer (FAO), a government position, manages oversight of the FAP unless otherwise delegated. The Contractor shall provide installation support at the designated DAF DAP locations as identified in the contract.

Requirements

The purpose of this personal service contract is to acquire personal healthcare services In Accordance With (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 37.104 & DFARS 237.104 to provide qualified clinical (masters-level) social workers, U.S. licensed registered nurses, certified victim advocates, and FAP staff personnel in implementing the FAP at DAF Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and Joint Bases where DAF is the lead.
