Background

  • The C2 TECOE Branch and its five (5) subordinate MAGTF Integrated Systems Training Centers (MISTCs) under the MAGTF Staff Training Program (MSTP) Division share a unique bond and history.  Established as a Branch within MSTP in 2004, the C2 TECOE provides the Marine Corps’ Fleet Marine Forces FMF) with a homestation  sustainment training venue for fielded  Marine Corps’ C2 systems Program of Record (PORs) located in the combat operations center  resident through all levels and elements of the MAGTF.  In 2008, CG TECOM divested MSTP of its C2 systems training responsibility, designating the C2 TECOE as a stand-alone TECOM Division to manage its regionally located MISTC training facilities and provide oversight of Marine Corps C2 training and education.
  • In 2012, TECOM once again realigned the C2 TECOE and its MISTCs as a “Branch” under operational and administrative control of MSTP Division for their role in providing foundational, standards-based C2 systems and COC training prior to any MSTP, MCTOG, MCLOG or MCO 3500.11F MAGTF Training Program (MAGTF TP) related training exercise, or in support of FMF pre-deployment training.
  • The Branch Head, C2 TECOE, MSTP Division is supported by a Curriculum Development Section, a Futures Section, an Operations Section, and an Information Management/Combat Operations Center (IM/COC) Section.

  • The scope of this effort entails providing the following services to the Government:
    • C2 TECOE and MISTC Academics Management in accordance with Marine Corps Formal School directives
    • C2 Systems and COC Instruction and Training in support of Marine Corps fielded C2 system Programs of  Record (POR)
    • C2 TECOE Curriculum Development, Management, and Administration
    • Faculty and Instructor Development
    • C2 TECOE and MISTC Systems Engineering, Computer Network Engineering
    • COC Equipment Operations and Operational C2 and C2 Systems Integration.
    • Battle Staff Training Exercises (BSTEX)
    • Scenario and Exercise Development and Management
    • C2 TECOE Information Management and Collaborative Tools
    • Program of Instruction (POI), C2 Operations, and Technical Standardization
    • C2 Analysts Services in Support of the Seven Warfighting Functions
