Requirements

  • Design and construct ATFP compliant CDC (Ages 6 weeks to 5 years).
  • In addition to new construction this project will also provide for the demolition of buildings 5824, 5826, 5828, 5830 and 5832, equating to 3,829 square meters.
  • Construction includes a single-story facility with drilled pier foundation, concrete slab, steel frame, double wythe masonry exterior walls, and standing seam metal roof. Project includes core administrative spaces, staff and facility support spaces, child activity areas, multi-purpose rooms, isolation rooms, laundry rooms lactation rooms, storage rooms, kitchen and equipment, and authorized equipment such as CCTV system, playground area and equipment.
  • Air conditioning for this facility is expected to be approximately 155 Tons.
