The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) MidSouth Healthcare Network (VISN 9) is an integrated healthcare delivery system comprised of six Joint Commission accredited medical centers. More than 350,000 Veterans seek care annually at VISN 9 medical centers located in Huntington, West Virginia; Lexington, Kentucky; Louisville, Kentucky; Memphis, Tennessee; Mountain Home, Tennessee; Murfreesboro, Tennessee; and Nashville, Tennessee.

There are 266 counties within the MidSouth Healthcare Network covering almost 110,000 square miles.

Approximately 10,000 full-time employees are dedicated to providing area Veterans a full range of quality and cost-effective medical, specialty, psychiatric, and extended care services.

Requirements

  • The Department of Veteran Affairs, Memphis, TN requires the following services to be provided in a private hospital, office or clinic environment to Veterans, primarily residing in the following Mississippi counties: Lee, Monroe, Union, Itawamba, Pontotoc, and Chickasaw Counties.
  • Primary Care CBOC: offers both medical and mental health care (physically on site and by telehealth) and may offer support services such as pharmacy, laboratory, and x-ray. Primary Care CBOCs are required to provide both primary care and mental health services. Mental Health services will be provided by the Contractor.
