Background

The Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition (ASN(RD&A)) serves as the Navy’s Acquisition Executive. The mission of ASN(RD&A) is to develop, acquire, and support technologically superior and affordable systems for Navy, Marine Corps, Joint, and Allied Forces. ASN(RD&A) is charged with the enhancement of the quality and affordability of major weapon system products, increasing the speed of delivery of weapons systems and services, and other similar functions, which support national and military objectives.

Requirements

  • The work provided for under this contract will be course development, delivery, and post course student support. Curriculum should be based upon core competencies recognized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) or similar and possess adequate depth and breadth to either equip or enhance the participant’s decision-making skills as required per the target audience. Non-business-related courses should be based on the acceptable industry standard for that area of study. Dedicated learning environments, which pre-empt distractions, are required. The course infrastructure should be such that the participant is fully immersed in the program and is able to focus completely on established learning objectives.
