Requirements

Major items of work include:

  • Dewater reservoir and the construction area.
  • Excavate a portion of the existing dam embankment and foundation to remove the existing outlet works structures and construct the new outlet works.
  • Strip the upstream and downstream surface of the dam embankment to remove all vegetation.
  • Reconstruct the dam embankment
  • Construct new outlet works, including
  • Excavation, grading, and placement of compacted for the spillway and training dike.
  • Place imported road gravel surfacing along the crest of the dam.
  • Reclaim all disturbed areas, including construction staging areas and temporary roads. Reclamation consists of the preparation of soil and seeding.
