Background

DLA Disposition Services (formerly known as the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service) is part of the Defense Logistics Agency. Our mission is to anticipate needs and deliver great performance to our customers through the reuse, transfer, donation, sale or disposal of excess property.

DLA Disposition Services supports the Warfighter and protects the public by providing worldwide disposal management solutions.

Requirements

The contractor shall:

  • The scope of work requires the transportation and disposal of RCRA Hazardous wastes, non-RCRA wastes, Batteries, Corrosive waste, Compressed Gas Cylinders, Flammable waste, Demil-required waste, State-Regulated waste, Non-Hazardous Waste, Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs), AFFF and other PFAS-related waste, Mandatory Recycling waste, Reactive waste, and Toxic waste in and around San Diego, California.  In addition, special services will be required such as sampling and analysis, industrial cleaning services, lab packs/loose packs, rolloff box rentals, vacuum box rentals, FRAC Tank rentals, and expedited removals and performance.  All services necessary for the collection, storage, processing, removal, transportation, final treatment and disposal of waste shall be in accordance with all local, state, Department of Defense, and Federal laws and regulations.
