Requirements

  • Construction project to construct a 4,000 square foot, secure administrative (building) Command and Control Facility (CCF) to serve the Intelligence Directorate (J2) of Joint Task Force-North (JTF-N). The entire Facility will be built to Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) standards. Construction includes connection to existing backup generator serving the existing JTF-N compound, information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) installation, Cybersecurity Measures, and Energy Monitoring Control Systems (EMCS) connection. Redundant mechanical and electrical systems will be provided. Sustainability and energy enhancement measures are included. Support facilities include site development, utilities and connections, lighting, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, storm drainage, information systems, and signage. Heating and air condition will be provided by self-contained system. Measures in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Minimum Antiterrorism for Buildings standards will be provided. Comprehensive building and furnishings related interior design services are required. Access for individuals with disabilities will be provided. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD’s Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC 1-200-02) including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance.
