Requirements

  • This IDIQ contract encompasses the comprehensive engineering, procurement, installation, operations, maintenance, and sustainment of all telecommunications systems and networks at Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) and its designated ancillary sites. The contract is designed to ensure the deployment of advanced infrastructure and the continuous management and technical support necessary for maintaining robust, secure, and scalable communication capabilities. These efforts will support MCBH’s operational requirements, enhance its strategic role as a regional hub, and ensure mission readiness. This contract encompasses all activities associated with the full lifecycle management of all MCBH telecommunications resources, maintaining adherence to the highest standards and regulatory compliance throughout the contract duration.
  • The types of tasks and activities that may be required under this IDIQ include, but are not limited to:
    • Project planning and coordination (the creation of standards-based
    • Installation\Engineering Design Plans)
    • Security planning and coordination (i.e., visitor access requests, clearances, access procedures, etc.)
    • Network and circuit transition planning and execution
    • Equipment and materials/supplies ordering/receipt, including proper handling/storage
    • Site preparation
    • Cable repair
    • Cabling/wiring installation, inspection/testing/documentation and removal of abandoned cable in accordance with NFPA-70
    • Cable support pathway installation (aerial, underground, and inside customer buildings)
    • Hardware/software installation, testing, documentation and/or removal
    • Hardware upgrades/reconfiguration/replacement of “end-of-life” equipment/technologies.
    • Card installation and replacement
    • End-to-end circuit installation/activation/testing/documentation/troubleshooting
    • Tagging/labeling of cabling, support systems, termination fields and equipment
    • Reports and documentation, including “as installed” updates or changes to “plant in place” records and network diagrams (i.e., installation design drawings, red line drawings, final “as-built” drawings)
    • Configuration management
    • Hazardous materials mitigation
