Requirements

  • The Contractor shall furnish the necessary management, technical support, labor, material, equipment, and facilities to accomplish repair and refurbishment of MK-41 Vertical Launch Systems (VLS) on board U.S. Navy and/or other military type vessels.
  • The contractor shall perform the repairs ordered by the issuance of delivery orders from the Contracting Officer. When ordered, the repairs shall be in accordance with the requirements outlined in this contract. Repairs shall be performed shipboard or at contractor facilities within a 50-mile radius of Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, VA. Under normal conditions, work shall be accomplished at the contractor’s facilities. Additionally, performance of work may be required elsewhere including OCONUS. In the event work is required outside of the 50-mile radius of Naval Station Norfolk, Norfolk, VA, travel and per diem shall be paid in accordance with Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). The rules in the Federal Acquisition Regulations §31.205-46 govern Government contractor and contractor employee travel costs dated Jan 1, 2018.
