Requirements

  • The project is a land-based repair effort to restore approximately 2,100 linear feet of the Central Revetment (34.095760° N, 119.109558° W). The revetment slopes will be restored with gradients of 1.5H:1V to 2H:1V. The project will increase the revetment crest to a design elevation between +20 and +23 feet (NAVD88) from the existing central revetment elevation, which currently ranges from +13 to +23 feet. The seaward slope will be reinforced with a minimum of two layers of estimated 6 to 8 ton armor stone, while the landward slope will utilize a minimum of two layers of estimated 2 ton reset armor stone. Approximately 35,000 tons of new armor stone will be required.
