Background

Requirements

  • The Contractor shall support threat-based scenario engineering, combining intelligence reporting, assessments and products with acquisition in order to deliver superior warfighting capability.
  • This support shall include threat engineering, systems design, and systems engineering, support for integrated weapon systems (primarily missiles), surface and subsurface weapons and systems development, test, and evaluation as it relates to analytical tools, computer models, hardware enhancements, and data generation and performance analysis.
  • Supported systems and programs under this effort include those developed by Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and the U.S. Navy such as the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS), Aegis BMDS (primarily the Navy Aegis Combat System and Standard Missile System), systems associated with the U.S. Navy Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), systems associated with ship self-defense, anti-air warfare (AAW) systems, and related warfare systems and combat systems.
