Background

PEO USC provides a single program executive responsible for acquiring and maintaining the Navy’s expanding family of unmanned maritime systems, mine warfare systems and small surface combatants, beginning with research and development efforts, and ending with fleet employment and sustainment. These include programs in support of Mine Warfare, Littoral Combat Ship Mission Modules, and Unmanned Maritime Systems, in addition to Littoral Combat Ship, Guided Missile Frigate, International Small Combatants, and Fleet Introduction and Sustainment.
