Requirements

The contractor shall provide the following:

The vessel shall serve as host ship for Naval Special Warfare (NSW) and be based in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The vessel will be utilized for training purposes that will not require unique configuration or modification to include, simulated ship attack, under hull surveys, and anchoring or loitering. The vessel shall be capable of the following:

  • Berthing and facilities for forty-five (45) personnel in addition to the crew and operating for forty-five (45) days without re-supply.
  • Playing host to the following small craft vessels: (2) SEAL Delivery Vehicles (SDV); one (1) Dry Combat Submersible (DCS) or DDS Hanger Trainer; and other small craft such as Combat Rubber Raiding Craft (CRRCs), Rigid Hull Inflatable Boats (RHIB) and Personal Water Craft (PWC).
  • Launch/recovery of all craft; allowing for craft replenishment and limited maintenance.
  • Equipment stowage, messing, berthing, administrative/operational space, maintenance space, emergency towing and logistics services of Maritime Security Operations.
  • 24 hour facilities available during both day and night time operations.
  • Required certifications/classifications and ability to operate all deck equipment including: cranes; winches, vessel launch and recovery systems; and all refueling evolutions/stations.
  • One (1) certified hyperbaric chamber and provision of hyperbaric chamber services for emergencies and routine decompression operations.
