Requirements

The contractor shall:

  • Coordinate the handling of Department of Defense (DoD)-sponsored export and import cargo, including vessel loading, vessel discharge, receipt of cargo, disposition of cargo, stuffing/un-stuffing of cargo, inter-terminal transfer of cargo, onward movement.
  • Provide Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the designated seaport(s) of Anchorage, Seward, Whittier and Valdez.
    • S&RTS services will cover the full spectrum of managing US Military cargo (e.g. containers, vehicles, breakbulk, and rotary or fixed wing aircraft) transitioning through designated seaport. Operational tasks shall include, but are not limited to, all stevedoring and longshoring required for vessel, truck, and rail loading & discharging, port reception and disposition, cargo management staging, intra port transfers, cargo prep, checking & tallying (C&T), and handling & warehousing Government provided dunnage and tiedown materials.
    •  Requirements include physical security, facilities, storage/staging, office space, supplies, and provide documentation/reports for port operation expenses & reconciliation of services to include other related miscellaneous requirements.
