Requirements

The contractor shall provide:

  • Research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E), production (OPN), and operations and maintenance (OMN) activities for Unmanned Maritime Systems (UMS). UMS is comprised of Unmanned Maritime Vehicles (UMV), which includes both Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs) and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs), and fully integrated sensors and payloads as necessary to accomplish the required Mine Warfare, Expeditionary and other Littoral missions.
  • Engineering hardware and software analyses, tradeoff studies, specification generation, program documents preparation, configuration management, test and evaluation event support including tech support, material procurement, auxiliary equipment shipping, supply support, maintenance support, installation, financial management support, schedule management support, and other program management support activities, and full spectrum Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to include logistics planning and implementation of training and supportability philosophies and operations and maintenance support for both CONUS and OCONUS fielded UVM and USV systems. Logistics efforts include conducting supportability and maintainability analyses, maintaining a logistics database, developing training material, conduct of training and productions of other logistics resource documentation for UMS.
