Requirements

  • The proposed project is a Design/Bid/Build for the construction of an approximately 8,000 SF Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) Facility.
  • Project to include concrete foundation and floor slab, steel frame, sloped standing seam metal roof, metal stud backup and brick/insulated metal panel veneer, metal stud and gypsum board interior walls, interior finishes, heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), electrical and communications systems, and supporting utility infrastructure.
  • The new facility will provide a conditioned indoor space for operational, training, and administrative functions. In addition, a concrete paved storage area is included in the project.
  • Project to include utilities, site improvements, communications infrastructure, paving and accessway, signage, lighting, and all necessary supporting work for a complete and usable facility.
  • Facilities will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the DoD Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC) 1-200-01, General Building Requirements and UFC 1-200-02, High Performance and Sustainable Building Requirements.
  • The project will comply with DoD antiterrorism/force protection (AT/FP) requirements per UFC 4-010-01 and UFC 4-022-02. Demolish existing AGE Building 894 (830 square meters) and cojoined jack test stand cover, Building 895 (223 square meters).
