DBB DB A/E & Construction Requirements

  • This effort will support the objectives of the Army’s GOCO Army Ammunition Plant (AAP) Modernization Plan to:
    • Increase manufacturing safety and readiness to meet current and future requirements.
    • Isolate energetic mass from people.
    • Ensure graceful degradation and resilient operations.
    • Improve flexibility, maintainability, and sustainability.
    • Reduce cost of operations.
  • A/E Services:
    • Full-service A/E design services with demonstrated knowledge of executing design projects meeting Federal requirements.
    • Full-service A/E design services with demonstrated knowledge of executing design projects meeting energetic/chemical and protective safety requirements.
    • Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, and permitting.
    • Proficiency in design for and pursuit of certification from the U.S Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
  • Construction Services:
    • Full-service design-build or design-bid-build construction services with demonstrated knowledge of executing construction projects meeting Federal requirements.
    • Full-service design-build or design-bid-build construction services with demonstrated knowledge of executing construction projects meeting energetic/chemical and protective safety requirements.
    • Proficiency in construction for and pursuit of certification from the U.S Green Building Council (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)
  • Contractors and their respective subcontractors shall have the ability to furnish all necessary services, personnel, labor, facilities, materials, supplies, and equipment to meet the Government’s project requirements. All design work shall be performed under the direct supervision of a registered professional Architect and Engineer licensed. Contractors shall perform projects in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws, including the Unified Facilities Criteria.
