Requirements

  • Civil site work will be required for utility upgrades, grading and drainage improvements, new loading platform, and supporting equipment pads. The anticipated soil disturbance for this project is currently projected to be beneath the area and volume thresholds requiring Maryland Department of Environment (MDE) Erosion and Sediment Control plan for review and approval. The facility will require architectural and structural upgrades to accommodate the new process design and provide appropriate egress, structural flooring modifications, overhead monorail crane support structure, conductive flooring and industrial finishes, covered walkways, external staircase, and other items. The building will require a new potable water service entry with emergency showers and eyewashes with tepid water.
