Background

It is a three story, 60,000SF masonry structure constructed in 1904 to house the CNY drafting offices and maintenance shop.

Requirements

The project will renovate the entire structure including building envelope work consistent with historic standards (repointing, roof deck and insulation, slate roofing, skylights, copper gutters and downspouts, windows) and full interior renovation to repurpose the building for multi-departmental NPS office occupancy, to include all systems (MEP & HVAC). The project will be pursuing LEED certification (level TBD). The building will be unoccupied for the duration of the renovation project.
