This effort requires the contractor to provide USS to OSC. The contractor shall provide the following support areas:

  • Determine the federal credit applicant’s ability and willingness to repay through a comprehensive creditworthiness assessment
  • Ensure adherence to federal laws, program requirements, and risk management guidelines to maintain regulatory and policy compliance
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential financial and operational risks to protect the integrity of the credit program
  • Provide a clear and justifiable approval or denial decision with supporting documentation
  • Establish loan terms that balance program objectives with risk exposure
  • Maintain thorough records for auditability, appeals, and reporting to ensure transparency and documentation
  • Provide applicants, internal teams, and oversight bodies with timely updates and explanations regarding underwriting decisions
