Requirements

Under the A&AS program, potential sources either alone or with appropriate teaming partners are expected to provide support in the following areas:

  • Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to provide support for the DoD acquisition process to include acquisition planning and development of documents such as Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), and other contract-related items
  • SMEs in nuclear, chemical and biological weapons systems, including materials transportation, custody, control, secure storage and demilitarization
  • SMEs in strategic nuclear weapons delivery systems (ICBM’s, heavy bombers and ballistic missile submarines) dismantlement and infrastructure elimination
  • SMEs in safety, construction, civil, mechanical, chemical, biological, industrial, electrical, and nuclear engineering
  • SMEs to support cost estimating; technical and cost evaluation of proposals; and technical review of contract deliverables
  • Preparation of documents such as strategic plans, budgets, reports, briefings, presentations, histories, public relations articles and official cables
  • Congressional reporting support
  • Travel, passport, and meetings support
  • Information systems networking and database management support
  • Operational logistics support
