Requirements

The contractor shall provide services to meet the following:

  • Environmental Compliance: Contractor shall support all environmental compliance programs including permitting, site assessments, technical training, recordkeeping, reporting, development of guidance documents and standard operating procedures, project reviews, tracing of metrics, escort duties, and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities. The Contractor shall support compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations for all WHS owned and/or operated properties.
  • Planning and Resiliency: The contractor shall provide technical support for the resiliency, master planning programs and land use management requirements at WHS facilities. Support includes site assessments, recordkeeping, development of guidance documents and standard operating procedures, feasibility studies, project reviews, developing guidance documents and standard operating procedures, and coordination with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Incident Response and Recovery: The contractor shall provide support for WHS programs related to both environmental releases as well as response and recovery from chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) attacks. For CBRN issues, coordination is needed with the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) and other DoD components and outside government agencies.
  • Natural Resources: The contractor shall provide technical support to the WHS natural resources program to include the Pentagon’s Potomac River shoreline area, extensive forest habitat at RRMC, at other natural resource initiatives and requirements at WHS owned and operated properties.
  • Outreach and Event Planning: The contractor shall provide outreach, event planning, and communications support to assist WHS in the implementation of technical programs within the Facilities Services Directorate – Standards and Compliance Division and the RRMC – Environmental, Safety, and Health Division.
