Requirements

There are seven work areas in which tasks will be assigned:

  • Work Area A: general and crosscutting support
  • Work Area B: safeguards and security
  • Work Area C: cyber security
  • Work Area D: emergency management
  • Work Area E: nuclear and environmental safety
  • Work Area F: worker safety and health
  • Work Area G: enforcement

The Contractor shall provide:

  • Procedures and system support
  • Meeting facilities
  • Assistance in preparation of presentations
  • Editing
  • Graphics
  • Reproduction services
  • Other administrative support necessary to support the issuance of reports on appraisals and analysis

The Contractor will be assigned tasks to plan and design appraisals and investigations throughout DOE. Technical expertise will be required in several topical or functional areas such as:

  • Safeguards
  • Security
  • Cyber security
  • Emergency management
  • Environment
  • Safety and health
  • Integrated safety management
  • Integrated safeguards and security management
  • Counterterrorism
  • Engineering
  • A variety of management, operational, and technical systems analyses

The support provided will include the planning and design of appraisals and investigations throughout DOE in such functional areas as:

  • Safeguards and security
  • Cybersecurity
  • Emergency management
  • Counterterrorism
  • Engineering
  • Variety of:
    • Management, operational, and technical systems analyses
    • Participation in appraisal teams for planning, conduct, analysis, and report writing phases
    • Providing procedures and systems support such as assistance in the preparation of presentations, editing, graphics, reproduction services, installation and maintenance of computer equipment for appraisal teams and other administrative support necessary to support the issuance of reports on appraisals and analyses conducted
