Background

The First Responder Network Authority, or the FirstNet Authority, is an independent agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) that oversees FirstNet, the nation’s communications network dedicated to emergency responders and the public safety.

Requirements

The contractor shall:

  • Support activities to mature the data governance framework for the organization to guide data management and analytics functions.
  • Develop scripts to curate select datasets for integration into business intelligence data products.
  • Enhance existing data pipelines developed to restructure, clean, and transform required datasets for integration into the enterprise data warehouse.
  • Enhance and develop new business intelligence data visualizations to provide the right information at the right time for leadership to make informed decisions.
  • Develop areas within the current data management and exploratory analyses efforts where AI/ML will expand capabilities and deliver performance enhancements
  • Deliver spatial data science solutions to extract deeper insights to uncover hidden patterns and improve predictive modeling.
