Requirements

The contractor shall provide services to meet the following:

  • The objective of this effort is to provide expertise, capacity, and services to sustain the current EVAMOSC platform while continuing to add additional standardized and enriched data products, extend data collection to additional military services and military service source data systems, educate platform users, and support requests for information, specifically:
    • Functional subject matter experts shall provide knowledge of DoD source data systems, weapon systems, DoD maintenance, logistics, finance, budget, readiness, manpower, inventory, and cost estimating policies and procedures.
    • Data engineers and data scientists shall provide knowledge and expertise of current and emerging methods to transfer, store, reshape, visualize, and analyze wide varieties of large (e.g., multiple terabytes, many millions of records) datasets. Data engineers and data scientist shall also provide knowledge and expertise of current and emerging methods to enable EVAMOSC platform users to access, reshape, visualize, analyze, query, and extract datasets from the EVAMOSC platform.
    • Technical writers shall provide knowledge and expertise documenting the complicated data interactions identified by data subject matter experts and implemented by data engineers and data scientists within EVAMOSC’s data lineage catalog other forms of documentation.
