  • The intent of this project includes but is not limited to completely preparing the site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnishing labor and materials to perform work for Laboratory Expansion and Remodel in Building 1W in accordance with the provided drawings and specifications. The laboratory is in Building 1W. The project remodels the 7,848-sq. ft. existing laboratory and adds 9,600-sq. ft. of new space adjacent to the laboratory. The new space will consist of a basement and a first floor on the north side of the existing laboratory. There is a sub-basement level in the existing Building 1W that provides all major utility systems. The project demolishes the existing 3600-sq. ft. building to the north of the laboratory
