Requirements

  • Projects will primarily involve improvements to low-volume and low-speed roadways ranging from 3R (resurfacing, restoration and rehabilitation) to full reconstruction.
  • Projects may include, but are not limited to the following: mobilization, earthwork, soil stabilization, structures, bridges, walls, drainage, surfacing, culverts, and parking lots.
  • Projects may be located in environmentally sensitive areas that necessitate context-sensitive construction techniques and processes.
  • The scope of the task orders may include, but are not limited to bridge/roadway value engineering, fabrication and/or delivery of individual bridge elements or temporary works, bridge demolition, construction of temporary and permanent single and multi-span bridges and foundations, mobilization, contractor sampling and testing, earthwork, dewatering, walls, asphalt and concrete surfacing, drainage improvements, traffic control, installation of traffic signals and signs, roadway reconstruction, rehabilitation, MSE wall construction, asphalt concrete paving, trail construction, roadway excavation, rock embankment or embankment construction and other work incidental to road and bridge construction projects.
