Requirements

The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to repair, replace, or maintain roofs based on an agreed scope of services on designated federal buildings in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.

The existing roof covers involve the full range of material types and attachment methods, including low-slope and steep slope roofs; clay, concrete, and slate tile systems; metal panel systems; built-up asphalt and coal tar roofs; modified bituminous systems; EPDM, PVC, and TPO single-ply systems; liquid and foam systems; vegetated, ballasted, and protected membrane systems; and fully-adhered and mechanically-attached systems.

Roof maintenance and major repairs and replacements shall be performed based on individual price proposals for each project or facility. Major roof repairs and replacements shall be accomplished using design-build strategies based on performance specifications and design intent documents furnished by the Government. Roof maintenance services shall maintain all designated roofs in a leak-free condition throughout the timeframe stipulated in each task order.

The Contractor might also be required to install roof anchors and horizontal cables to support fall restraint and rope descent systems.
