Background

SSC/SZI’s mission statement is to operate and sustain an affordable Ground System Enterprise (GSE) for Research and Development and demonstration missions; develop innovative solutions to reduce ground system costs; build and support ground system instantiations; develop, operate, and maintain multiple security classification levels and external interfaces with multiple instantiations to support the operational environment; perform Cyber Defense across multiple missions, security levels and baselines; support different types of operations ranging from R&D efforts and prototypes to operational efforts.

Requirements

The Scope of this contract includes ground operations (systems engineering and sustainment), and development (development and integration) support and services in support of Space Systems Command Innovation and Prototyping Delta (SZI) Prototype Ground Development and Sustainment Branch’s (SZIG) mission directives:

  • Develop innovative solutions to reduce ground system costs
  • Provide and operate an efficient GSE for Research and Development (R&D)
  • Build and support ground system instantiations
  • Perform Cyber Defense across multiple missions, security levels and baselines
  • Develop, operate, and maintain multiple security classification levels and external interfaces with multiple instantiations to support the operational environment
  • Support different types of operations ranging from R&D efforts and prototypes to operational efforts
