Requirements

  • The Jesse Brown VAMC is seeking a general contractor to provide all necessary tools, labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and quality control for EHRM Infrastructure Upgrades. The project primarily includes the addition of telecommunication rooms (TR) throughout the following buildings: Damen, Atrium, Temp (32), Taylor, Ogden, and Bed Pavilion. The construction shall result in a complete, compliant, and fully-functional project, including proactive safety and infection control compliance; selective demolition, installation, testing, and certification of a significant volume of Cat6a cabling throughout all buildings as well as between emergency electrical distribution system improvements (i.e. power distribution panels, lighting, controls, receptacles, grounding-bonding, UPS, etc.); physical security and access control system upgrades; finishes including walls, floors, and ceilings of new or altered rooms; and all other requirements as described in the design and specification documents, throughout all buildings.
