Laboratory Eletronics Controls Requirements

  • This project will include laboratory space, secure open storage areas, conference room, and common areas. It will be used in research, development and testing of guided missile equipment and associated ground handling and launch equipment. This facility is designed for the delivery of collaborative and innovative aviation and missile capabilities, for responsive and cost-effective research, development, and life cycle engineering solutions to the Army. Comprehensive furnishings and equipment related to the interiors of the facility will be provided including laboratory furniture and work benches. The facility is approximately 7,600 square feet (SF). Supporting facilities include water, fire suppression, sanitary sewer, telecommunications, electrical services, storm water drainage, roadway, and additional site-specific improvements. This project will comply with DOD antiterrorism/force protection requirements per UFC 4-010-01. The prospective procurement will involve awarding a construction contract in the range of $5-$10 million.
