Requirements

  • Aid the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Test Directorate (DT) with test life cycle execution and responsibilities. These activities include planning, development, implementation, sustainment, execution, analysis, and assessment of testing and test related functions. Test related functions include test processes, procedures, plans, policies, and activities related to test resources and infrastructure; as such, test life cycle support includes developmental and operational system and component flight tests, ground tests, cyber tests, wargames, and exercises in accordance with applicable MDA and Department of Defense guidelines. Additionally, test support under this requirement will also augment the development of enterprise and program (element-specific) policies, plans, processes, procedures; the implementation of guidance; and the interpretation of internal and external agency regulations, policies, directives, and other related documents.
  • Flight Testing:
    • Develop and coordinate all flight test documentation
    • Provide on-console training and execution support
    • Conduct flight test re-planning and de-confliction
  • Ground Testing:
    • Plan and execute Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) tests, distributed ground tests, and cyber tests
    • Manage integrated schedules and resource allocation
  • Test Analysis:
    • Perform pre- and post-test analysis and track anomalies
    • Support data collection planning and develop data products
  • Test Resources:
    • Manage test ranges, facilities, and transportable instrumentation
    • Provide and operate test-specific voice and video networks
    • Deliver logistical “Shore Support” for deployed personnel
  • Strategic Planning & Integration:
    • Develop and coordinate the Integrated Master Test Plan (IMTP)
    • Manage test-related training programs and policies
    • Handle executive-level correspondence
    • Support special projects and international test requirements
