Background

The Mission Systems Evaluation Division (MSED) was established to provide people, processes, and facilities for Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) to plan, coordinate and conduct integrated mission system test and evaluation of avionics systems integrated in strike, rotary wing, maritime patrol and special mission aircraft.

Requirements

  • The Contractor shall provide test and evaluation and systems engineering support for:
    • Navigation
    • Communications
    • Identification systems including:
      • Design reviews
      • Acquisition support
      • Test planning
      • Test execution
    • Air-ship integration
    • Data reduction
    • Data analysis
    • Commercial air support services

    The contractor shall accomplish work as specified in the Performance-Based Statement of Work (PBSOW). Performance of this work shall be measured in accordance with the Performance Requirements Summary Matrix/Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan.
