Requirements

  • The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD), Contracts Department, Code 02 is seeking potential sources in performing the functions of MK 38 Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Support with the installation of Ship Alterations (S/A), Ship Change Documents (SCDs), Ordnance Alterations (ORDALTs) and system repairs as related to the MK 38 Machine Gun System (MGS) on U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard Vessels and authorized Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The scope of work contains various supporting tasks to ensure successful completion of SCD(s), S/A(s), ORDALTS, and system repairs to include fabrication, assembly, installation, testing, painting, cable fabrication/assembly, and light machining of ancillary equipment. Also required are established facilities where material management is efficiently conducted and hazardous material shipments can originate. Finally, this work will require on-site project management where supervision and coordination with the government will be a priority.
