The Department of Homeland Security Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) enhances the chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) detection and assessment capabilities of CWMD by deploying equipment and technical support personnel to mission partners. MDDP seeks to acquire deployable field management and scientific support services. The purpose of this effort is to provide operational, technical, administrative, logistical, information coordination services, and subject matter expertise to the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) to enhance the nation’s abilities to prevent terrorists and other threat actors from using weapons of mass destruction and support operational partners in closing capability gaps within the CONUS and OCONUS.
