Requirements

Provide specialized capability to perform research toward the development and improvement of Communications, EW and ISR systems such as AAR-47 Missile Warning System (MWS), AAQ-24 Directional IR Countermeasures (DIRCM), TADIRCM, AAQ-45 Distributed Aperture Infrared Countermeasures (DAIRCM), and DoN Large Aircraft Countermeasures (LAIRCM) and Shared Reconnaissance Pod (SHARP), ANGEL Fire, and DBWAPSS, respectively, and new VIS/EO/IR ISR systems for the Optical Sciences Division (NRLCode 5600) in the areas described below:

  • Analyze VIS/EO/IR Technology In Lab Setting
  • Design And Develop VIS/EO/IR System Prototypes
  • Test And Evaluate VIS/EO/IR System Prototypes
