Requirements

  • The project consists of the construction of a new Spray Booth and Ventilation systems within a newly constructed Finishing Shop within the existing underground garage. The work includes updated programming within an existing space along with associated system upgrades to support the change in programming
  • The scope of work includes architectural, structural, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, hazardous material remediation, spray booth system installation fire protection Systems, and life-safety.  The Spray Booth shall be a 9,000 CFM 3-stage filtration system booth with a remote mounted 11,650 CFM inline exhaust fan.  The spray booth basis of the design is a Rohner Modified Cross Draft
  • The work will be conducted within an underground garage.  The Government will occupy the site and existing building(s) during entire the construction period, with the exception of areas under construction. The project will be constructed under a single prime construction contract, responsible for the successful performance of the entire scope of work
  • The Contractor shall provide all supervision, plant, labor, materials, tools, and equipment, to carry out all work and operations as necessary. All work shall be completed in accordance with all federal, state, District, and local laws and regulations
