Requirements

The contractor shall provide services to meet the following:

  • The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, training, licenses, permits and equipment necessary to perform the tasks as identified herein for the storage of retrograde containerized HHG) entering the Eastern and/or Western United States (CONUS) storage facilities, as applicable. The contractor shall prepare shipments in Government Owned Containers (GOCs) for relocation transportation and storage in accordance with (IAW) Defense Transportation Regulations (DTR), Joint Travel Regulations (JTR), and DoD Personal Property Consignment Instruction Guide (PPCIG). The contractor shall assume all responsibility of HHG from point of receipt to the point of custody and transfer to a receiving party. The contractor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: (1) operating and managing storage facility(s), (2) handling-in HHG, (3) storage of HHG, ensuring adequate protection of shipments is provided at all times, (4) handling-out, and (5) resolving HHG loss or damage claims.
